2018 Event Date: Saturday 5th May
We are delighted that for 2018, world record beating ultra endurance athlete, Mark Beaumont, will join us for the Tayside Challenge. Mark will lead out the ride and then spend the rest of the day meeting and chatting with the other cyclists. You can join Mark and by entering here.
The Tayside Challenge gives a choice of 81 mile or 46 mile routes. The 46 mile route is not exactly for beginners but may be a great warm up for bigger challenges to come as the year goes on. The 81 mile route is challenging but offers some truly spectacular views. Both routes start and finish at Pitcairngreen.
This great charity Sportive is organised by Perth Kinnoull Rotary Club working in partnership with Malawi Fruits. We are offering a memorable and enjoyable cycling challenge in some of Scotland’s best scenery while raising funds to support local Perthshire charities and international charities including Malawi Fruits who are bringing help and hope to some of the world’s poorest communities in Africa and to those suffering from natural and man-made disasters.
